Friday – July 31

Welcome & Early Arrival Day

For those arriving early, Friday offers relaxed opportunities to reconnect.

Evening Get-Together

An informal gathering will be hosted at our lake home on Otter Tail (or a nearby location depending on numbers). This will be a casual time to reconnect in smaller groups.

Friday Afternoon Golf (Optional)

If there is interest, tee times can be arranged at local golf courses in the area.

Lake Home Open for Visiting

Our lake home will be available throughout the day as a place to connect, visit, and enjoy time together in smaller groups.

Saturday – August 1

Main Reunion Day at Amor Park

Location: Amor Park

Backup (if weather is poor): Zion Lutheran Church

Morning

9:00 – 10:00 AM | Check-In & Visiting

• Share family fun facts
• Bring photos and memories to display
• Light mingling and reconnecting

10:00 AM | Icebreakers & Welcome

• All-ages icebreaker games
• Short blessing
• Time to gather and connect across generations

Lunch & Midday Activities

• Food trucks will be available
• Please bring a favorite family treat to share
• Bring your own beverages if desired
• We encourage everyone to mingle and connect across family branches

We especially invite our Elders to prepare a few memories to share. Many of us fondly remember the reunions organized by Lola Thompson — let’s continue that tradition.

2:00 PM | Group Photos & Family Stories

• Large group photo (and possibly additional group photos)
• Brief shared memories among descendants of Ole and Marit

Afternoon Fun (Until ~6:00 PM)

• Lake activities (public dock access available)
• Swimming (optional)
• Yard games from our ample supply
• Playground access for children
• Open visiting and reminiscing

There are restroom facilities at the park.

Please bring lawn chairs, as seating is limited (we may rent additional tables and chairs).

If weather does not cooperate, we will move to Zion Lutheran Church and enjoy indoor-friendly activities.

Worship & Farewell

9:00 AM | Church Service

Family members are welcome to attend or participate in worship at Zion Lutheran Church.
